Ordering your own Custom Made instrument
Ordering a violin, viola, or cello is a collaborative process. Each instrument I create is unique, shaped by the sound qualities you seek and my experience as a maker and restorer.
It all begins with a conversation. We’ll discuss the character of sound you’re drawn to, how you play, and what inspires you musically. From there, I design and craft an instrument tailored to your needs - one that feels responsive, reliable, and deeply personal.
The making process typically takes several months, allowing time for design, construction, varnishing, and fine adjustment. Throughout, I’ll keep you updated with progress, so you can see your instrument taking shape.
When the instrument is complete, you’ll have the opportunity to try it and ensure it matches your expectations. My goal is always to create an instrument that becomes a trusted partner in your music-making.

Learn more about pricing and delivery times
Current pricing information for instruments can be found here. Ordering locks in the final price so there is no need to worry if my prices increase while the order is being completed.
Delivery times depend on how many orders I am working on. I take orders at any time. The earliest time for you to receive your instrument is six months after you place the order.
When you order the instrument you shall be asked to pay a deposit which is 20% of the final price. This secures your place on the waiting list. Once the instrument is completed, you will have a one week trial period to decide whether you wish to buy. If you do then you shall pay the remainder of the full price. If you do not wish to proceed in buying the instrument I shall return the deposit to you.
More information about the making process can be found here.
